Daniel Kail, MA, LPC
About Daniel
Daniel Kail is the Founder and Clinical Director of Trailhead Christian Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Colorado and Arizona. He holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and brings over 25 years of experience working with children, youth, families, and adults in a variety of clinical and ministry settings. Daniel is also a certified clinical supervisor, a Certified Brain Health Professional through the Amen Clinics, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Daniel integrates his faith deeply into his clinical work, believing that “walking in freedom” (Psalm 119:45) is an intentional, daily pursuit made possible through connection with Christ and community. His approach is both clinically sound and spiritually rooted, using tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems ("Soul Mapping"), and Level 1 Gottman Method for couples counseling.
In 2020, Daniel launched IGNITE40, a spiritual formation initiative that invites individuals into deeper connection with God and greater personal transformation. He also co-hosts The Wage War Podcast, where he discusses topics around healthy discipline, growth, and the Christian journey.
Outside of counseling, Daniel enjoys time with his family, hiking, biking, reading, leading worship, and mentoring high school students through Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
“I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to Your commandments.”
